The laying construction of indoor basketball court wooden flooring is a precise systematic project, and the construction quality directly determines whether the functional performance of the floor can be effectively exerted. Before the formal construction, the on-site base treatment is the first critical step. The concrete base on the site must be completely flat, and the uneven part needs to be polished and leveled in advance. At the same time, the moisture content of the base must be tested on site. If the base moisture is too high, additional moisture-proof treatment is required, otherwise the subsequent floor will be prone to mildew and deformation.
After the base treatment is completed, the laying of the moisture-proof isolation layer needs to be carried out carefully. The isolation layer materials should be laid flat without wrinkles, and the overlapping joints between the materials should be tightly sealed to form a continuous and complete moisture-proof barrier. If there is a break or gap in this layer, the ground moisture will penetrate upward, causing the local wood to absorb water and swell, and the floor will arch locally in severe cases. This seemingly simple step requires the construction personnel to have a high sense of responsibility and strict operating specifications to ensure that no hidden dangers are left.
The installation of the keel structure is the core link of the entire construction process. The spacing between the keels must be strictly controlled according to the design standards, and the fixation between the keel and the ground must be firm and reliable. The levelness of the keel itself needs to be checked one by one with a level gauge. Once there is a local height difference, it must be adjusted in time. If the keel is not level, the laid floor will have an uneven force situation, and the local floor will be loose, and there will be an abnormal "creak" sound when stepping on it, which will affect the use experience. After the keel is installed, it is also necessary to carry out a full-field stepping inspection to eliminate all unstable hidden dangers.
The laying of the surface layer of the wooden board also has strict process requirements. The gap between the boards needs to be reserved reasonably according to the local climate characteristics and the measured moisture content of the boards, which can not only avoid the problem of arching caused by thermal expansion and contraction, but also will not leave too large unsightly gaps. The direction of the board laying is usually parallel to the long side of the basketball court, which not only conforms to the visual habit of the players when moving, but also can make the force transmission of the floor more uniform. After the laying of the surface board is completed, the subsequent fine grinding, putty repairing, and surface painting processes must be completed in a dust-free environment as much as possible, to ensure that the final surface is smooth, flat, and the paint film is uniform, creating a perfect sports interface.
