Maintenance and Cleaning Guide for Printed Indoor Sports Wooden Flooring

The printed indoor sports wooden flooring has a very different surface structure from the traditional solid wood sports flooring, and its daily maintenance and cleaning also have more targeted operation methods. Correct maintenance methods can not only keep the pattern of the floor bright and clear for a long time, but also effectively extend the service life of the floor.

In the daily cleaning process, the first thing to avoid is the use of strong acid and strong alkaline cleaning agents. The surface of the printed floor is covered with a layer of UV cured wear-resistant layer. Although this layer has high wear resistance, it will be corroded by the chemical components in the strong acid and strong alkaline cleaning agents for a long time, resulting in the fading of the pattern and the decrease of the anti-slip performance. In the usual cleaning, you can use a special neutral sports floor cleaner, dilute it with water according to the proportion, and then wipe it with a wrung-out microfiber mop, which can not only remove the stains on the surface of the floor, but also will not cause damage to the pattern and the wear-resistant layer.

For the dust and debris in the gaps of the floor, it is recommended to use a professional sports floor vacuum cleaner with a soft brush head for cleaning. The hard brush head of the ordinary household vacuum cleaner is easy to scratch the wear-resistant layer on the surface of the printed floor, resulting in fine scratches on the surface, which affects the clarity of the pattern. The soft brush head of the special vacuum cleaner can not only suck away the dust in the gaps, but also will not cause any wear to the surface pattern, and can maintain the bright effect of the pattern for a long time.

In the process of daily use, it is necessary to avoid the sharp objects scratching the surface of the floor. Although the printed pattern is protected by the multi-layer wear-resistant layer, if it is scratched by sharp heavy objects, it may cause local damage to the pattern. When moving sports equipment, it is recommended to pad the bottom of the equipment with a soft anti-slip pad, and move it gently, do not drag it on the floor at will. If there are local small scratches on the surface of the floor, you can use the special floor repair paste to repair it in time, so as to avoid the moisture penetrating into the interior of the base material along the scratches, resulting in the expansion and deformation of the local floor.

In different seasons, targeted maintenance operations are also required. In the humid and rainy season in the south, it is necessary to pay attention to keeping the indoor ventilation of the venue, and turn on the dehumidifier when necessary, so as to avoid the floor being damp and the edge of the pattern being warped. In the dry heating season in the north, a proper amount of humidification treatment can be carried out indoors to avoid the excessive dryness of the air leading to the cracking of the floor and the gap between the patterns. After each year of high-frequency use, a professional surface maintenance operation can be carried out. After the fine sanding of the surface, a layer of special sports floor maintenance oil can be applied, which can refresh the wear-resistant layer on the surface of the pattern and restore the initial bright and clear effect of the pattern.
